Trespasser causes delays to Airport, Ellenbook, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland and Yanchep train lines

Friday afternoon train commutes have been thrown into chaos as a trespasser reportedly running through tunnels causes major delays.

A spokesperson from the Public Transport Authority told The West Australian that trains on the Airport, Ellenbook, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland and Yanchep lines are experiencing delays.

“Due to a trespass incident, trains on the Airport, Ellenbrook, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland and Yanchep Lines are currently delayed.

“Trains are continuing to run but not to their regular schedule” she said.

Those on their way home are being urged to visit the Transperth website for updates.
