ACT records seven new COVID infections

The ACT has recorded seven new COVID-19 cases.

Seven people also remain in hospital with the virus, five of them in intensive care.

Four of those five patients are on a ventilator.

The number of active cases in the national capital fell by eight to 154 on Monday.

It follows seven new cases reported on both Saturday and Sunday.

Nearly 98 per cent of the ACT's 12-plus population is double-dosed.

More than 1500 negative tests were processed in the 24 hours to 9am on Monday.
