Another day, another ‘Cam Green is a star’ moment.

The Australian Test allrounder sports a towering 200cm frame, yet it hasn’t stopped him from athletically flying through the air to take a remarkable catch against Queensland in the One Day Cup.

Western Australia were in control of the 50-over match, with the Bulls in trouble at 4-49.

However in-form all-rounder Jack Wildermuth came to the crease and blitzed a run a ball 66, that featured five 4s and two maximums.

It looked like Wildermuth was set to take his side’s total beyond 300 and out of WA’s reach, until Green pulled out a bit of magic.

He may only be 21-year-old old but we’re already growing used to seeing this from him.

“There’s a man out in the deep there - WOWZERS Cameron Green, running backward, takes a superb outfield catch!” the commentator called as it happened.

“That is an absolute special, that is a great catch. A good innings but let’s just have a look at the replay of this catch.

“(Wildermuth) got a good piece of it, it’s sailing towards the cover fence, Green going back, drags it in!

“Did his tag on the shirt touch the rope? I reckon he’s all good - safe as houses. That’s a superb outfield catch from the big man.”

Social media users were quick to throw praise behind Green’s diving efforts.

“What a catch,” one said.

“Another Ben Stokes in progress,” one added.

“This guy's cricket talent is scary for fans like me who support an Australian opposition.

“I'd however love to watch him wipe the floor with England in the upcoming Ashes,” another joked.

Wildermuth’s efforts helped Queensland post a competitive total of 9-264, with rain delaying the start of WA’s batting reply.

Michael Neser gave the Bulls the ideal start, removing former Test opener Cam Bancroft (0) and Green (4) in his first two overs.
