The daughter of late NBA star Kobe Bryant has taken her first steps.

The proud mum and widow of Kobe, Vanessa Bryant shared the sweet video to Instagram of 11-month-old Capri, reaching the milestone.

"So proud of my Koko Bean," she posted to the site. "Capri took her first steps from her auntie Sophie to mama today."

In the video, Capri’s aunt holds onto the baby as she walks a few steps before falling into her mother’s arms.

Kobe and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna were killed in January after their helicopter crashed in California. They were among nine people killed in the crash.

The couple also have two other children together, Natalia, 17 and Bianka, three.

Vanessa has shared several moments with fans and followers since their tragic passing including a post on what would have been Gigi’s 14th birthday.

She captioned the photo of her late daughter, "Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you. You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me. I miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!!"

Earlier this month Vanessa shared a love letter from her late husband addressed to "The Love of my Life."

"Yesterday I found an envelope labelled To: The Love of my Life," she wrote on Instagram.

"From, Tu Papi I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today."

She continued: "Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus.

"Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together."
