Perth traffic: Police incident on Loftus Street at Mitchell Freeway creates heavy congestion

A Police incident caused heavy traffic in West Perth on Friday evening, but the area has now been cleared.

Main Roads WA confirmed about 5.30pm on Friday that there was an incident on Loftus Street eastbound at the Mitchell Freeway.

The left lanes were closed by emergency services.

Main Roads WA confirmed about 7pm that the area has been cleared and traffic was flowing.
