AFL: Fremantle are chasing a sixth straight win as they host a Carlton side under massive pressure on and off the field in their showpiece Len Hall Tribute game.

The Dockers are unchanged from last week’s crushing western derby victory, while they will take on a familiar face as ex-Docker Liam Reidy leads the ruck duties for the Blues.

Carlton have a late out chossing to manage Ollie Hollands after a tough week for the entire Hollands family.

Fremantle are heavy favourites and you’d expect Carlton will need something special to cause an upset though they do possess a strong record at Optus Stadium.

Ashton Moir with a tidy finish

Good pressure again from the Blues to force the turnover at half forward and the kick to Moir is perfect to outmark Pearce.

On the 45 it works back late to swing through to bring the defecit under a goal.

Freddy hits back

Brayshaw with a lovely spin to get out of trouble allowing the Dockers to burs out the middle to Switkowski who handballs to Bolton who lowers the eyes to kick to an uncontested Frederick.

The snap is true to restore the two-goal buffer.

Fremantle under pressure

They’re lacking comosure so far with some poor kicks turning the ball over in dangerous areas.

Carlton are still taking it on and going quick by hand to tyr and open up the Dockers’ defence.

McGovern takes a mark inside 50 and converts and the margin is back to six points.

We’re back underway

Reidy with a rare win over Jackson, but the kick forward is intercepted by Jordan Clark.

The Dockers go inside 50 and the Blues are done for deliberate out of bounds but Luke Jackson’s snap misses.

HALF TIME FRE 8.4 (52) CAR 6.5 (41)

Fremantle have a late foray forward but the siren beats Luke Jackson’s kick inside 50.

Carlton evened the clearance battle that term and it’s gone a long way to keeping them in this game.

Several times Freo threatened to break them open but Carlton are just about hanging in there.

Sam Walsh is having a big game and his up to 16 touches.

Shai Bolton has threatened to take several hangers but it’s been a nearly night for him so far.

The question now is can the Blues maintain that pressure after half time?

Mason Cox has a goal!

Caleb Serong hits him with a pin perfect pass.

He hit the post last week but makes not mistake this time as he tugs on the guernsey, much to the delight og the home crowd.

Back to a 12-point lead

Blues are bringing the heat

The Fremantle crowd is unhappy with the umpires who they would say have worked against them this quarter.

There have been some soft calls but Carlton have also lifted their pressure to force the Dockers into mistakes.

McGovern has another

Another defensive free kick given away as Luke Ryan is adjudged to have blocked McGovern out of the contest.

It’s a very soft call but the margin is back to eight points.

Freo fans lend a hand

Caleb Serong has rare off moment as he sends an attempted kick forward sailing into the stands.

It’s a Carlton free but the Dockers supporters in the stand throws the ball as far away as he can from the Blues who half to go retreive it.

Kemp has three

Brennan Cox is done for a downfield free kick for holding Kemp in the goal square.

Once again just as Fremantle threaten to get away the Blues find a way to hold on.
