Booos ring out at Optus Stadium with the fans not happy with the umpiring but on kids night the Eagles were made to look like children by Adelaide.

It was ominous signs when the Crows kicked their first inside 20 seconds and it didn’t really get much better from there.

Bo Allan about the only Eagle who can hold his head high after that quarter.

Not hard enough, not strong enough and simply not good enough. Big quarter-time speech needed from McQualter.

Dan Curtin breaks the deadlock

There’s about six Eagles around the ball and but Curtin is the only one with any pace as he burns all of them runs inside 50 and kicks the Crows sixth.

Shocking stuff from West Coast

Izak Rankine delightful out the middle and Bazzo is not strong enough as Fogarty just throws him to the ground as he has three goals inside the first 20 minutes.

Three of Adelaide’s five goals has come from centre clearances.

Williams responds for the Eagles

Started down in defence but Jack Williams is the first on the scoreboard for the Eagles after winning a holding free kick in the ruck.

Much needed for West Coast but they need to fix their work around the contest.
